‘The Hard Gospel’ – a scoping study report to the Sectarianism Education Project
This is a substantial study of attitudes toward, experiences of, and needs regarding dealing positively with sectarianism and difference in the Church of Ireland. It is one of the most comprehensive pieces of research yet attempted into one church or denomination in Ireland.
The Sectarianism Education Project of the Church of Ireland commissioned research which involved interviewing a representative sample of clergy and lay people across the church; all the clergy of the church were also given the opportunity to contribute through written questionnaires.
