RÔLE OF THE CHURCH COMMITTEE

The Role of the Church Committee met on Tuesday 16th June in Church of Ireland House, Dublin.

The Committee is currently working on a response to the 700 page document of recommendation of the Governmental Constitutional Review Group on the Constitution of the Republic of Ireland. The finished document should be ready in January 1999.

The Role of the Church Committee also has four permanent sub groups working on key areas of current interest:

  • Medical Ethics
  • European Affairs
  • Social and Economic Issues
  • Political Development
