INAUGURATION OF
THE 7TH GENERAL SYNOD
OF THE
CHURCH OF ENGLAND

7th November 2000 The Right Rev Samuel Poyntz, former Bishop of Connor, will represent the Archbishop of Armagh at the 7th General Synod, which commences on Tuesday, 14 November 2000. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, will be present on that date to inaugurate the Synod which commences with a service in Westminster Abbey. Her Majesty will address the Synod in the Assembly Hall of Church House. |
