The Revd Harry Brooks grew up in Dublin and was educated at The King’s
Hospital. He always wanted to be ordained but circumstances did not
allow this until he was much older. Then after a career in the Insurance
industry he began studies for the ministry at the age of 50.
In 1964 he was ordained and served as curate of St Michan’s &
St. Paul’s inner city parishes for three years before becoming Rector
of Dunlavin, Ballymore Eustace and Hollywood Union. On his retirement in
1985 he returned to live in Dublin. |
