While we are so thankful for the recovery of some of the valuable articles stolen from the Archbishop Robinson Library in Armagh, I issue a further appeal for the safe return of the remaining books which are part of our common heritage throughout Ireland.

We are grateful for the many expressions of concern and support we have received following the robbery from all sections of the community.

I appeal to anyone who has knowledge of the whereabouts of the stolen books to help us in the safe return to the Library of these historic articles.
