There are a number of boards, commissions and committees which report to the General Synod. These committees address such areas as education, liturgy, ministry, social responsibility and youth work.

The Standing Committee also has a number of sub-committees that report directly to it. The business of these committees is recorded in the Report of the Standing Committee to the General Synod each year.
