Central Communications Board

The Central Communications Board is a committee of the Standing Committee of the General Synod of the Church of Ireland.

It comprises members with particular interest and expertise in the whole field of modern communication.

Its work includes internal and external communication and involves close co-operation with the media.

The Board supports three sub committees which deal with Broadcasting, Literature and the Internet. It provides training in radio and television broadcasting and is involved in the production of church publications.
