Broadcasting Committee
The Broadcasting Committee’s terms of reference were as follows:
- To make appropriate contributions to the policy debates of the audio–visual communities of both the United Kingdom and Ireland;
- To carry out the work of liaison with professional broadcasters and broadcast executives;
- To stimulate the interest of the members of the Church of Ireland in broadcast issues and debates.
The committee has been incorporated into the Central Communications Board, to which it reported, and an archive of news published as part of its work is available here.
