Autumn 2002 Programme
Set out below are the details of the National Forum on Europe’s Autumn series of nationwide public meetings and National Conferences. The Forum (http://www.forumoneurope.ie) was set up in October 2001 as an independent arena to clarify the debate on Ireland’s future in an enlarging Europe. Under its chairman Senator Maurice Hayes, it offers a unique public space, where all strands of opinion can be heard.
This will be the second series of public meetings that Senator Hayes has chaired around the country. The National Conferences - in Dublin, Ennis and Galway, will focus on the issues and concerns of people in rural Ireland, women, young people and industrial service workers.
