It has come to our attention that a number of fraudulent emails are being circulated purporting to be from the Church of Ireland and/or the Representative Church Body.
The email claims that the Church of Ireland and/or the Representative Church Body are giving a yearly donation of US$850,000.00 each to 100 recipients each year and states that the recipient has been chosen at random as a recipient of the cash award.
This email is NOT from the Church of Ireland and/or the Representative Church Body or any body connected thereto. The email appears to be a fraudulent attempt to obtain your banking details and/or monies from the recipient.
