We beseech thee, Almighty God,
look upon the hearty desires of thy humble servants,

delivered and saved the world:
Grant that by faith in him who suffered on the cross,
we may triumph in the power of his victory;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Post Communion Prayer
God of hope,
in this eucharist we have tasted
the promise of your heavenly banquet
and the richness of eternal life.
May we who bear witness to the death of your Son,
also proclaim the glory of his resurrection,
for he is Lord for ever and ever.
Saint Patrick Year C
Collect One
O almighty God,
who in thy providence didst choose thy servant Patrick
to be the apostle of the Irish people,
that he might bring those
who were wandering in darkness and error
to the true light and knowledge of thee;
Grant us so to walk in that light,
that we may come at last to the light of everlasting life;
through the merits of Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord.
Collect Two
Almighty God,
in your providence you chose your servant Patrick
to be the apostle of the Irish people,
to bring those who were wandering in darkness and error
to the true light and knowledge of your Word:
Grant that walking in that light
we may come at last to the light of everlasting life;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Post Communion Prayer
Hear us,most merciful God,
for that part of the Church
which through your servant Patrick you planted in our land;
that it may hold fast the faith entrusted to the saints
and in the end bear much fruit to eternal life:
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
