We welcome HM the Queen’s visit to Enniskillen tomorrow. Fermanagh is a very welcoming place and the Queen’s visit is one which comes in the spirit of peace and reconciliation, building on her visit to the Republic of Ireland last year. This is one community coming together in unity not uniformity. We acknowledge that history has not always been kind but there are reservoirs of goodwill among the people across our local areas which remain to be tapped. This goodwill and respect enables us to work together and spurs us on.
