Bishop Good Welcomes Appointment of New Moderator of Presbyterian Church in Ireland

Diocesan News

Added on 06/02/2013

I extend warm congratulations to Rev Rob Craig on his election as the next Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Mr Craig plays an active role in church and civic life here in the north west, relating well with other churches, engaging well with the media and making a positive contribution to community life.

In this City of Culture year, when we look forward to welcoming the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland to Londonderry in June, it is all the more significant that the Moderator who will chair that meeting is from this historic city.

Mr Craig, his wife and family will be in my prayers as he prepares for and takes up this great responsibility.
