Added on 12/09/2013

Archbishop Richard ClarkeThe Archbishop of Armagh, The Most Revd Dr Richard Clarke, has joined with others in endorsing a cross church campaign in support of the upcoming talks with Dr Richard Haass. The campaign is to encourage all who are taking part and the wider community to seek the common good at this time.

The campaign entitled ‘Hope and History – Building Peace in Northern Ireland’ invites members of the churches to sign up to a statement that gives positive support to all those who are committed to making peace work and to improve relationships into the future.

The campaign has been devised by members of various churches including the Revd Dr Heather Morris, President of the Methodist Church in Ireland; Cardinal Seán Brady and the Revd Dr Rob Craig, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.

The statement can be read at www.hopeandhistory.com where you can also sign your support.
