Archbishop Charles Brown, Papal Nuncio to Ireland, preached at a special service in St Patrick’s (C of I) Cathedral, Armagh on Wednesday 22nd January as part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity from the 18th to the 25th January (pictured right).
The service was led by the Dean, The Very Revd Gregory Dunstan, and attended by the Archbishop of Armagh, The Most Revd Dr Richard Clarke; Cardinal Sean Brady; Archbishop Eamon Martin, Coadjutor Archbishop of Armagh, and many other clergy.
The music was led by the choirs of both cathedrals in the city and the order of service was on the theme of ‘Is Christ Divided?’ as set out by Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. This year the Liturgy was prepared by the Churches in Canada.
