Bishop Good and Mayor Brenda Stevenson at The See House

Bishop Ken Good welcomed the Mayor of Derry / Londonderry, Councillor Brenda Stevenson, to The See House on Monday 30 June.

The Bishop and the Mayor discussed various aspects of city and community life. The importance of positive leadership was emphasised in their conversation and they both expressed delight at the outstanding success of the recent Clipper Festival.

Bishop Good said: ‘I offer my congratulations and the good wishes to Mayor Stevenson on her recent appointment. The leadership given by our local Council is vital for the wellbeing of our community”. He continued, “I was also glad to express to her the willingness of the Church of Ireland community to continue to play an energetic part in our city.’
