The Bishops’ Appeal would like to thank all parishes and individuals who have contributed to the Philippines emergency relief fund. Nearly €120,000 and nearly £40,000 has been received for the Philippines and these figures are being added to daily.

Following the devastation brought to the Philippines by Typhoon Haiyan, the Bishops’ Appeal urges people to respond generously and hold special collections over the next two Sundays. An immediate release of €10,000 from the emergency fund has been made to Christian Aid partners on the ground.
