Staff of the Representative Church Body bade farewell to a longstanding colleague at a reception in Church of Ireland House, Dublin, yesterday (Wednesday June 29). Librarian and Archivist of the RCB Library, Dr Ray Refaussé, retired on his birthday after 35 years with the library.

RCB Library’s ‘Magic Lantern’ Collection Fosters Ecumenical Links - Posted on 16/12/2015
Since 2012 and the launch of its Archive of the Month initiative, the RCB Library has been proactive in digitising and promoting lantern slides or ‘magic lanterns’. These slides consist of images from glass plates, where the photographic positive was fixed between two pieces of glass and then projected by using a lamp.
