Walking in the Wilderness with Jesus – Lent reflections in Dublin & Glendalough

It is Ash Wednesday and today Dublin & Glendalough begins a journey through Lent with a short reflection every day until Holy Week.

‘Walking in the Wilderness with Jesus’ is a series of reflections, provided in the main by Lay Readers from Dublin & Glendalough.

Archbishop Michael Jackson gets the series underway today and will provide weekly reflections on Sundays throughout Lent. The Diocesan Readers will take over from Mondays to Saturdays providing a thought for the day and prayers for our times based on the readings for each day until Maundy Thursday, April 1.

Shona Rusk (Crumlin and Chapelizod) provides tomorrow’s reflection, followed by David Williams (Kill O’ the Grange) on Friday, and Margaret Healion (Zion) on Saturday.

The reflections will be posted daily on the United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough YouTube channel (subscribe now so as not to miss a post) and will also be available on the Diocesan website, Facebook page and Twitter.
