Reflecting on a visit to Ireland from Burundi

Straddling five weeks across April, May and June, CMS Ireland and the wider Church of Ireland have benefitted from the presence of the Rev Arsène Mafurebe. Joining us from Gitega Diocese in Burundi, Arsène has brought insight, energy and a different perspective on how we do things here. He is helping us see with fresh eyes our part of the global church.
His visit has been sponsored by the Council for Mission with the objective to offer learning opportunities for us and for our Burundian partner. So far, Arsène has given us plenty of food for thought! During his stay, he has been sharing his observations and reflections with members of the CMS Ireland staff team.
