The Standing Committee appointed the following as members of the Broadcasting Committee for the period ending 30 June 2001:

Publication of the new Prayer Book

The Liturgical Advisory Committee recommended that a "Publication of Prayer Book Advisory Committee" be established to assist the Editor, the Rev Canon JAB Mayne, and that the following be elected to the Committee:

Inter-church business

The following reports were noted by the Standing Committee:

  • report on the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, held in Belfast from 5-9 June 2000
  • report on the British Provincial Synod of the Moravian Church of Great Britain and Ireland, held in Harlesdon, London from 10-14 July 2000
  • report on the Conference of the Methodist Church in Ireland, held in Belfast from 9-13 June 2000.
