The Representative Church Body Library is the theological and reference library of the Church of Ireland and repository for its archives and manuscripts. The normal opening hours of the Library are 9.30am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm from Monday to Friday and a reading room is available for reference and study. Membership of the Library is open to laity as well as clergy: the completion of an application form signed by an approved referee, and the payment of the subscription (currently Euro 5.00 per year or Euro 40.00 for life) entitles members to borrow books. Books can be sent by post, the borrower being responsible for all postage involved.

The Library is administered by the Library and Archives Committee, one of the statutory committees of the Representative Church Body which is the perpetual trustee of the real and movable property of the Church of Ireland. More information about the Library is available here.
