RCB Library awarded grant to digitize & catalogue its collections of architectural drawings

The RCB Library has been awarded a grant of €12,000 under the BuiltHeritage element of the Environmental Fund by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.

This grant will enable the pilot project to digitize and catalogue the Library’s collections of architectural drawings of church buildings, which was funded by the Esme Mitchell Trust, to be developed further.   As before, the work will be undertaken by the architectural historian, Dr Michael O’Neill.
