Bishop Harold Miller urges progress as leaders resume talks

All–party discussions with the aim of restoring the Northern Ireland Executive and Assembly, will start today, 7 May 2019.

The Bishop of Down and Dromore, the Rt Revd Harold Miller, says: “I greatly welcome this new round of political talks in Northern Ireland. With so many others, I want to plead with our politicians to give the kind of leadership which brings peace, seeks the good of the whole community, and removes the dangerous vacuum which permeates our society at this time. As a church, we will be fervently praying for a successful outcome.”
