#GlobalSonRise social media campaign
The Anglican Communion is co–ordinating a social media campaign for Easter Sunday morning: #GlobalSonRise
Members of its churches around the world are encouraged to post a text or video message to Twitter at 5am (local time) on Easter Sunday using the hashtag #GlobalSonRise and indicating where the message is coming from. More information is available from the Anglican Communion News Service here.
The Church of Ireland is one of 40 member churches of the Anglican Communion and the sunrise on Easter Sunday morning will be first seen by island parishes in the Pacific Ocean.
