‘The Last Lap’ series continues – Archbishop Jackson reflects on Spy Wednesday
Today Archbishop Jackson continues our virtual journey through Holy Week 2020, ‘The Last Lap’, by looking at Spy Wednesday. The name for the Wednesday in Holy Week comes from the departure of Judas Iscariot to betray Jesus and the Archbishop suggests that Judas is a Christian prototype of the ‘Alienated Follower’.
In his video reflection for today he says Alienated Followers exist across and within the church and examines their characteristics. He looks at how St John and Jesus handle the situation [St John 13: 21–32].
