D–Day commemorations to be held around Clogher Diocese
A number of events are planned in Clogher Diocese next week to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D–Day landings in Normandy, France, on June 6th 1944.

Belfast Cathedral will celebrate 120 years of worship within its walls with two special services on June 2 – reminiscent of the grand opening service which saw thousands gather inside and outside St Anne’s on that day in 1904.
His Holiness Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, the head of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, will embark on a historic Apostolic visit to Ireland from 1st to 3rd June.
