To paraphrase Thucydides, the people make the diocese, not the buildings alone. With this in mind a video series called ‘People and Places’ was launched yesterday, Monday 23rd August. It focuses on the many different aspects of church life in the Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross.
Carnmoney Parish Church, Diocese of Connor, hosted a Covid Recovery Day as a way of helping members of the church and the local community to reflect on and process their experiences of the pandemic.

During the past year of restrictions, two parishioners of Douglas Union with Frankfield, Co. A recent fundraising event in Annalong was an interesting mix of tractors and ships! The Kilhorne Church Tractor Run attracted 104 vehicles, with proceeds going to parishioner Jane White who nurses with Mercy Ships.
