In 2007, following the transfer and cataloguing of a substantial collection of diocesan materials relating to the Church of Ireland diocese of Kilmore to the Representative Church Body Library in Dublin, a completed catalogue list was published in full by the RCB Library.
The cataloguing staff in the RCB Library have not only met but exceeded their target for 2010.
A recent seminar organised by the Irish Landmark Trust has focused on the unique church of St Werburgh, its diverse history and architectural development in inner-city Dublin.
The RCB Library was promoted on a stand at Ireland’s first national genealogy and family/social history event.

Speaking at the end of a one-day conference on religion and society in the diocese of Kilmore held at Cavan County Museum, the Bishop of Kilmore, the Rt. Revd Kenneth Clarke, commended the high-quality of lectures presented and interest they had generated amongst the audience.
As part of the Heritage Week programme in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, the Librarian & Archivist in the RCB Library, Dr Raymond Refaussé, gave a lunchtime tour of the manuscripts which are on exhibition in the Treasury in the cathedral’s medieval crypt.
The remaining Church of Ireland parish records for Dublin City, County Kerry and County Carlow have now been added to the Irish Genealogy website.
