Donna set to embark on valuable mission work in Papua New Guinea

On Sunday, 18th July, the Dean of Saint Patrick’s, the Very Revd Dr William Morton, installed the Very Revd Roderick Smyth, the Revd Aonghus Mayes, and the Revd Ian Gallagher as Prebendaries of Taney, Newcastle and Tipperkevin respectively on the Chapter of the National Cathedral.

Archbishop Michael Jackson attended the annual National Day of Commemoration Ceremony in Collins Barracks, Dublin, on Sunday July 11. The annual event honours all those Irish men and women who died in past wars or on service with the United Nations. The event also marked the 100th anniversary of the truce in the Irish War of Independence between 1919–21.
The 11th July marked the Centenary of the Truce and the End of the War of Independence in Ireland. It came into effect at 12 noon on that day and, although many people thought it would be a temporary halt in hostilities, it ended the conflict.
On Sunday 4th July, the Very Revd Dr William Morton, Dean of Saint Patrick’s, installed the Revd Katharine Poulton, the Very Revd Kenneth Hall, and the Revd Malcolm Kingston as Prebendaries of Swords, Tassagard and Yagoe respectively on the Chapter of the National Cathedral.
