The Church of Ireland is present in over 1,000 communities across the island of Ireland, and involved in serving its parishes practically in many different ways.
The Church Leaders, meeting today in Armagh (12 March), note the announcement regarding a Church service being planned for later this year to mark the Centenary of the partition of the island of Ireland and the formation of Northern Ireland.
‘We encourage all Church of Ireland members to take up the opportunity offered by the Covid–19 vaccination programmes currently being rolled out across the island of Ireland. We believe, as Christians, that it is our civic obligation and duty to serve others and to love our neighbours as ourselves.’
At this time when all church buildings are closed, it is even more important to check for any maintenance issues and take appropriate action.
