Young Leaders in Ministry Fund 2021

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Disestablishment and to support Church of Ireland ministry in the future, the Church of Ireland Youth Department (CIYD) has created a bursary fund to significantly encourage the number of young people undertaking mission and training experiences that would benefit ministry in the Church of Ireland.

Cork churches keep Christmas lights on as a sign of ‘the light of Christ in this hurting world’
A number of parishes in the United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross that have outdoor decorations on their church buildings for Christmas have taken the decision this year to keep the lights on until Candlemas, 2nd February, the Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple.

Agherton parish funds second Ugandan well
Parishioners and friends of Agherton Parish in Portstewart, Diocese of Connor, recently donated a cheque for £9,000 to Fields of Life. The money was raised through a series of online harvest broadcasts in October.
