“The current war in Ukraine has had a devastating impact on the people of that country and being displaced as a refugee is even more difficult at Christmas time. Our schools have responded to the arrival of refugees from Ukraine by opening their doors, and we see this response every day in schools and classrooms.”
“I pray that you will discover what the Magi knew – and what our late Queen found out – that the greatest gift any of us can ever receive is Jesus Christ.”
“As Christmas approaches, we join together in prayer–filled reflection to look forward with hope to the coming days when we mark the coming of God as one of us.”
The Representative Body met on Wednesday, 14th December 2022, in an online format. Members were welcomed by the Archbishop of Armagh, who opened the meeting in prayer.
