Families Outreach Pastor – Ballybeen (Diocese of Down and Dromore)

St Mary’s wishes to appoint a Families Outreach Pastor (part or full–time/permanent). The post–holder will be an active presence in the parish community to support and develop outreach, mission and the discipleship of children, young people and their families, both within the church and in the community.
You will play a vital role in the strategic growth and development of this area of ministry, and will:
- create a welcoming environment for children, young people and their families who do not yet know Jesus;
- prioritise discipleship and evangelism, in all its forms, seeking opportunities to reach families in the parish of Ballybeen with the good news of the Gospel, developing both outreach and discipleship programmes for children, youth and their families on weekdays and Sundays;
- care pastorally for children, young people and families in our church and community.
