Priest–in–charge – Magheradroll (Diocese of Down and Dromore)

Closing date: 29/07/2024

The Bishop of Down and Dromore seeks to appoint a Priest–in–charge for the Parish of Magheradroll.

The Parish of Magheradroll is situated in the busy market town of Ballynahinch, halfway between Belfast and Newcastle. The parish has one church and a range of parochial organisations.

We seek to appoint a person who:

  • Has a deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and is seeking God’s will for their life and our Church family.
  • Is able to communicate the gospel clearly, in a relevant and inspirational way.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and a vision to build a team to equip the congregation for ministry and church growth.
  • Is motivated and will energetically encourage young people and families to become involved in church activities.
  • Is pastorally caring, sensitive and understands the importance of parochial visiting, particularly the sick, bereaved, and housebound.

Interviews will be held on 1 August 2024
