Faithful God,
you have appointed us, your witnesses,
to be a light that shines in the world:
let us not hide the bright hope you have given us,
but tell everyone of your love,
revealed in Jesus Christ the Lord,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

Almighty God,
by whose grace alone we are accepted
and called to your service:
Strengthen us by your Holy Spirit
and make us worthy of our calling;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Merciful God,
we thank you for inviting us to share
in the one bread and the one cup.
By your continuing grace
enable us to live as one family in Christ
and joyfully to seek to bring your salvation
